Nearly two months ago on a sundrenched afternoon, I concluded an afternoon of tea, cucumber sandwiches and a live jazz band by lazily walking home and devouring the glowing warmth with my camera. Since then my life has, as ever, become so consumed by assessments and work that any attempts at photography (save a few passably successful self portrait sessions) have been utterly sporadic. Every cell in my body craves the arrival of November 18 which will mark the beginning of three months of bliss, kicking off with the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum.

In the meantime, I have final exams to hurdle and then my first year of university will officially be over. Hope you enjoy these few images until I have time to take up my camera and shoot again.

 A very long time ago I posted this teaser entry about a shoot with the wonderful Steph whom I'd gone to high school with and has possibly the best fashion sense out of anyone I know. Being the terrible person I am, I allowed myself to get caught up in the tempest of university obligations, a new job...and other assorted things like Pottermore and post-Potter depression. It was only yesterday that I finally got my act together and went on a retouching spree, blasting the At World's End soundtrack and eating strawberries with Nutella. I hope you enjoy the following images!

In other news, I am into my second week of semester break and loving it. I am living life and actually emerging from the house for reasons other than university, plus I have a number of photoshoots lined up which is very exciting.
